Celebrate the achievements of companies and individuals who have done most to take forward Renewable Energy in the UK. The REA runs these annual awards for outstanding achievement in renewables. The Awards were inaugurated in 2006 to honour achievements in the British renewable energy sector.

Award Categories

Community – this is a NEW award – and it’s for a community group which has been active in developing a community renewable energy project or programme of renewable installations.

Company – which company has done the most since the beginning of 2010 to advance UK renewables?

Pioneer – what organisation outside the sustainable energy industry has done most to pioneer the use of renewable fuels, heat or power?

Project Developer – which company deserves to win recognition for its skills as a project developer?

Innovator – who has come up with the most innovative renewable energy conversion device, invention or application since the start of 2010?

Installer – who has excelled in the installation of on-site renewable equipment in the domestic, commercial or public sector?

Region – which local authority or regional agency has done most to encourage the take-up of renewable energy in their area?
