REA Meeting on Government’s Bioenergy Strategy

REA will be holding a meeting on the Government’s bioenergy strategy. This is intended to set a strategic framework across government, which will inform decisions on individual policies, such as the RO, RHI and RTFO. The intention is to publish the strategy by the end of the year, with stakeholder engagement starting in the Autumn.

Stella Matakidou is heading up the review, and she spoke at the renewable power group meeting on 28 July - we’ll circulate notes and slides from that meeting shortly. Stella and other members of the strategy team will discuss the project in depth with members. Details as follows:
